The Slayers

The slayers were built upon lies, thievery, and bloodshed.
They are technically a faction that can be passed through blood, in more ways than one. You can either be born under a slayer, and in turn have the choice to become one, or go through a blood ritual, which will be explained later in detail. Once one becomes a slayer, you must have an beast partner, and if not, then one is sent out to find a beast. Slayers are recruited from a list of potentials by a speaker, (somebody who contacts potentials) after this they are either successfully recruited, or killed off in cold blood.

This was the old way of the slayers, they themselves have changed although there are still groups of ancient slayers, bent on sadistically evil plans. Most of the slayers today though simply are called this because they practice arcane magic, they can equally be called Arcanists.
